Anthropic于10月8日发布Claude Haiku 5.5，面向10万token以下的请求，输入价格降至每百万token 0.10美元，输出价格降至0.50美元，较Haiku 4.5下降90%，与OpenAI GPT-6 Luna定价持平；10万token以上的请求定价为输入0.50美元、输出2.50美元，降幅为50%。Anthropic估算，考虑到请求规模与token消耗变化，典型工作负载的运行成本较Haiku 4.5降低约75%。
该模型定位为Opus和Sonnet的辅助模型，适合文档摘要、信息分类、数据库查询以及为更强智能体处理较小任务。Haiku 5.5引入可调节的“努力程度”层级，默认中等；Anthropic称其为标准速度下最快的模型，但未提供每秒token数。
此外，Sonnet 5.5的缓存读取费用从每百万token 0.20美元下调至0.10美元。Anthropic还为Max与Team订阅用户提供月度API额度：Max 5x用户100美元，Max 20x用户200美元，Team用户共享最高500美元，可用于平台上的任意模型。模型已通过Anthropic平台、AWS、Google Cloud和Microsoft Azure提供，API标识为claude-haiku-5-5。
