Meta's AI Agent Muse Tops US Free App Charts

As of September 21, Meta's newly launched AI agent Muse has reached the top of the free app charts on both the US Apple App Store and Google Play. According to Abe Yousef, a senior analyst at Sensor Tower, Muse accumulated more than 902,000 downloads within six days of its September 8 launch, surpassing the 773,000 downloads recorded by its predecessor Meta AI in the same period after launch.

Muse is also available within Meta's messaging app WhatsApp, suggesting the actual user reach may be even larger than the standalone download figures. The strong debut reflects Meta's growing progress in the increasingly competitive consumer AI assistant market.
