Montage Technology Begins Mass Production of Fifth-Sub-Generation DDR5 RCD Chips

Montage Technology announced on September 28 that it has begun mass production of its fifth sub-generation DDR5 register clock driver (RCD) chips. The RCD is a critical component in DDR5 RDIMM memory modules, responsible for buffering and driving clock signals.

The new products target high-performance DDR5 RDIMM modules and are designed to meet the increasing demand for high-bandwidth and high-reliability memory systems in data centers and AI servers.
