Magnific launches Magnific One image generator with built-in art direction and brand compliance
Magnific, the cloud-based AI image generation platform formerly known as Freepik, has launched Magnific One, a new image generation model designed to produce more natural-looking visuals while automatically applying and verifying a company's brand guidelines. The model is available immediately to paid subscribers through the web, desktop and mobile apps, as well as via Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration for use inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude.
The company says Magnific One combines an AI-powered creative direction system with a new Brand Kit feature. A user's prompt is first interpreted through an additional creative-direction step, which considers references and determines an appropriate visual treatment before the underlying model produces the image. Magnific One is powered by OpenAI's GPT Image 2 technology, enhanced with the company's proprietary guidance system. Magnific's human graphic designers contributed to the model's development to help it avoid the "AI look" seen in many generated images.
Brand Kit is aimed at teams that need to keep visual identity consistent across many pieces of content. It creates a reusable brand profile from materials such as a brand guidelines PDF, website, existing images or written descriptions. The system can then check Final-mode images for mismatches in visual style, color, typography or logo usage, flag problems and let users request corrections before publishing.
Magnific One also offers a Draft mode that generates eight or sixteen alternative compositions for the credit cost of one image, and a Final mode that produces 2K or 4K images. Up to five reference images can be supplied. The launch follows Magnific's broader rebrand from Freepik in April 2026; the company has reported more than one million paying subscribers.
