GenScript and NVIDIA Launch Global Life Sciences Startup PitchFest

By AI123

GenScript Biotech and NVIDIA have jointly launched the GenScript & NVIDIA Life Sciences Startup PitchFest, a global competition platform for startups applying artificial intelligence to drug discovery and life sciences research.

The event is scheduled to take place in January 2027 during the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, with up to six companies selected for on-site presentations. Winning companies will receive wet-lab data credits from GenScript and Brev cloud service credits from NVIDIA to support subsequent development and deployment. Applications are now open, and finalists are expected to be confirmed by December 2026.

According to the event plan, GenScript will provide sequence-to-data capabilities and experimental validation support to help selected companies turn computational designs into testable experimental results. NVIDIA will provide accelerated computing platforms and startup ecosystem resources, including access to the NVIDIA Inception program, which is free for startups and designed to help them develop, scale, and connect using NVIDIA's platforms and ecosystem.

The PitchFest covers AI-driven antibody and protein design, as well as technologies that accelerate the design-build-test-learn cycle. In addition to pitch opportunities, finalists will be invited to attend the GenScript Biotech Global Forum to connect with biotech executives, strategic partners, and industry leaders.

A GenScript representative said that unlocking the full potential of AI in life sciences requires an ecosystem that combines world-class computing power with trusted, scalable biological validation capabilities. The collaboration aims to connect computing resources, experimental validation, and industry opportunities to help AI life sciences startups accelerate technical validation and industry collaboration.
