GoodVision AI CEO: Inference Services Opportunity Window Could Last Only 6-12 Months
GoodVision AI (GVAI) CEO David Wang said in an interview that 2025-2026 marks a watershed for the AI industry, with many enterprise workloads moving from proof-of-concept to routine operation and inference demand accelerating. He noted that enterprise pain points have shifted from model availability to model selection, deployment location, and balancing cost with latency.
GVAI is building a three-part inference network combining cloud services, an intelligent routing engine, and local AI Factory capacity. The company is set to go public through a business combination with Calisa Acquisition Corp. Proceeds will mainly fund data center construction, intelligent routing platform development, and expansion of sales and R&D teams. The company repurposes former crypto mining sites and abandoned factories into inference nodes using modular container deployment, with single-phase immersion cooling and PUE below 1.2. Two U.S. sites in Texas and Wisconsin are expected to start operations in January-February 2027.
On demand, Wang said AI coding capabilities saw a visible leap since March 2026 and represent a high token-consumption scenario. He cited a biotech customer that previously needed one or two people seven days to process lab data; an agent now completes the task in about 10 minutes for only a few dollars in token costs. He argued that when AI embeds into daily core workflows, customer willingness to pay and stickiness increase.
Commenting on rivals, Wang said OpenRouter is a pure routing aggregation platform focused on software and dependent on external compute; Fireworks AI focuses on model inference; Lambda and CoreWeave are more GPU infrastructure players. He believes inference competition is a combination of demand scheduling and compute supply capabilities. GVAI's intelligent routing has saved at least 60% in costs based on feedback from several larger customers.
According to the company's S-4 filing, revenue was approximately $3.6 million in fiscal 2024 and $7.7 million in fiscal 2025, reaching about $24 million for the nine months ended June 30, 2026. Wang expects AI Factory to eventually account for one-third to one-half of company revenue. He estimated the current market opportunity window may last only six months to a year before price competition intensifies.
