Hexagon Robotics

AEON is a bipedal industrial humanoid released by Hexagon Robotics in June 2025: 165 cm tall, 60 kg, 34 degrees of freedom, top speed 2.4 m/s, able to ascend and descend stairs. Short-term payload is 15 kg and continuous payload 8 kg. A single charge gives 5 hours of runtime, and a unique one-minute automatic battery-swap mechanism enables 24/7 operation. A multimodal sensor suite and AI spatial intelligence support material handling, inspection and reality capture. It has received the iF Design Award, a CES Innovation Award and a MUSE Design Award, and pilot deployments are under way at the BMW Leipzig plant and Schaeffler plants worldwide.
