Adam

Adam is PNDbotics' full-size general-purpose humanoid robot. Its biomimetic structural design and human-like locomotion capability allow it to execute highly complex tasks in unstructured environments, with broad application in scientific research, industrial automation, medical assistance and service robotics. Mechanically it integrates up to 41 quasi-direct-drive compliant force-controlled joints in the Adam SP configuration, supporting a maximum walking speed of 1.5 m/s. On the control side, in-house WBC whole-body dynamics and MPC model-predictive algorithms maintain dynamic balance, with an NUC12WSKi7 host plus an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB running at 100 TOPS handling motion control and AI decision-making. A 1,172 W·h battery and Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity support real-time remote control and debugging.
