IRON
XPENGXPENG IRON is the company's general-purpose humanoid robot. Its 76 whole-body degrees of freedom, 21 of them in each hand, bring fingertip dexterity close to that of a human hand. Three Turing AI chips deliver up to 2250 TOPS of effective compute, and a Physical AI foundation model runs locally, so complex tasks need no remote human control: the robot reasons and acts by itself, with low inference latency and data kept on board. A proprietary fully-enclosed flexible mesh structure balances safety with appearance. In September 2026 the humanoid production line entered formal operation, with more than 80% of core processes automated and volume production run to automotive-grade quality standards, making this not a concept piece but a product built to come off the line.
