Nvidia and Palantir Team Up to Bring Sovereign AI to Critical Supply Chains

By AI123

Palantir and Nvidia announced a partnership on September 10, 2026, to deploy sovereign AI technology in critical supply chain operations, starting with Nvidia's own production environment.

The deployment will create an AI technology stack that integrates Nvidia's Nemotron open-source models with Palantir Foundry and the AIP platform, underpinned by Palantir's ontology framework. The stack is designed to provide supply chain visibility, identify capacity bottlenecks, and assist decision-making while preserving enterprise control over proprietary data. The technology stack and its cross-industry applications will be showcased at Palantir AIPCon 11.

Nvidia operates one of the world's most complex supply chains, covering millions of components, thousands of suppliers, and a global network of manufacturing partners. As AI infrastructure demand accelerates, Nvidia is working with its ecosystem to ensure stable supply of the 1.3 million components in each Vera Rubin rack. Palantir customers can use Foundry and AIP to fine-tune Nemotron models with their own operational data, building customized supply chain AI stacks. Nvidia's cuOpt software can also be used for optimization and scenario planning to model bottlenecks and evaluate resource allocation decisions.

The two companies plan to extend the lessons from Nvidia's deployment to other enterprises. The solution is built on Nvidia's reference architecture and the jointly developed Palantir Sovereign AI Operating System reference architecture, with support from Dell Technologies and Cisco. It can be deployed on-premises on mainstream system vendor hardware or in hosted and cloud environments such as Rackspace and Nebius, helping enterprises turn scattered operational data into more effective decisions while retaining control over models, data, and deployment environments.
