OpenAI Integrates Dropbox, Box, and SharePoint Natively into ChatGPT Library

On September 11, 2026, OpenAI announced that Dropbox, Box, and SharePoint are now natively integrated into ChatGPT Library across both ChatGPT and ChatGPT Work. The rollout to paid users begins this week.

Box said that as the file system for AI, it provides headless access to enterprise context in ChatGPT while keeping content managed, governed, and protected by existing Box permissions. The integration brings enterprise content directly into ChatGPT, allowing users to access relevant files within their enterprise security boundaries.
