Pinterest launches AI-powered Restyle beta in US and Canada
On September 17, 2026, Pinterest announced the beta launch of "Restyle," a new consumer-facing feature available in the U.S. and Canada. Powered by Pinterest Intelligence, Restyle lets users upload a photo of their room and use AI prompts to add or replace furniture, decor, adjust lighting, paint colors, and more, helping them visualize different interior design styles in their own space.
Pinterest Intelligence combines Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, Nvidia Dynamo, open source models, and Pinterest-built technology. The company said its partnership with Nvidia will also improve the Pinterest Assistant's ability to handle visual search requests and turn search signals into AI discovery and shopping cues.
With Restyle, users can test and compare options in their own homes, such as adding wall art, furniture, accessories, or items from images found on Pinterest, as well as change lighting, paint color, and plants. They can click on individual objects to swap, erase, or further edit them, or ask the AI to visualize the room in styles like "bohemian," "industrial," "whimsical," or "dopamine."
The feature was teased at Pinterest's annual Pinterest Presents event. It is initially available as an early preview and will roll out more broadly in October 2026.
