SAP TechEd Unveils AI Platform Upgrades and Table Model SAP-RPT-2.0
At its annual technology conference SAP TechEd on October 28, 2026, SAP announced a series of AI innovations for developers, including upgrades to Joule Studio, Joule Work, and the SAP Business AI platform, as well as the new table AI model SAP-RPT-2.0.
According to SAP, the Business AI platform provides a unified environment for building across SAP and third-party systems, with business semantic context and AI governance. Joule Studio lets business users and professional developers use no-code and pro-code tools to build and extend agents with more than 70 AI models. Customers in the early adopter program can also design and run n8n workflows, which will later be available to all users.
SAP also released SAP-RPT-2.0, the latest table AI model with anomaly and outlier detection and multi-table processing. In collaboration with HPE, SAP is deploying SAP-RPT on HPE's Spaceborne Computer-2 aboard the International Space Station.
In a limited-time offer, some customers can deploy and run custom agents in SAP's managed Joule Studio environment free of charge until December 2026. SAP said customer data remains owned by customers and is not provided to third parties for training or optimizing large language models.
