Adobe Premiere mobile arrives on Android with free core editing and paid AI features

By AI123

Adobe has launched Premiere mobile for Android, more than a year after the app first arrived on iOS. Like the iOS version, the Android app is free to download and offers in-app purchases for generative AI features.

Core editing capabilities are available at no cost, including splitting, trimming, cropping and merging footage, adjusting video speed, and adding text, effects and audio layers such as voiceovers. Users can also export unlimited 4K videos without watermarks, in any size, for any platform, at no charge.

AI-powered features such as sound effect generation and access to AI-generated assets on Adobe Firefly require purchased generative AI credits. Additional cloud storage is also available as an in-app purchase. Adobe says it will soon release more features, including Adobe Fonts, enhanced captions, and a seamless editing experience with Premiere desktop.

The app is now available for download on Google Play. Installation requires a device running at least Android 13 with a minimum of 5GB RAM.
