RespanAI launches agent-trace decision models Span-01 and Span-01 Lite on OpenRouter

On September 28, 2026, RespanAI announced that its decision models Span-01 and Span-01 Lite are now live on OpenRouter, a platform that provides access to multiple AI models.

The models are designed for agent-trace behavior analysis. Users can input a trace span and the behaviors they care about, and receive the probability that each behavior is present, such as whether a user is frustrated or whether a tool call is safe to run.

According to RespanAI, Span-01 is a hyper-parallel reasoning classifier built for unseen challenges. It is claimed to be 2x cheaper and 18% better than Jev, and 700x cheaper and 4% better than GPT-6 Luna. Span-01 ranks first on the Behavior Benchmark, while Span-01 Lite outperforms Jev and is completely free.
