Nuin Intelligence Raises Hundreds of Millions in Angel+++ Round for Home Embodied AI Robot

By AI123

In September 2026, Li Yinchuan, founder of Nuin Intelligence, revealed in an interview that the company has completed a new financing round of several hundred million yuan. The angel+++ round was led by a JD-affiliated fund, with Zhenxin Capital, Nanshan Zhanxin Investment and Huadeng Investment participating. The new round came just over a month after the company secured a 500-million-yuan round, bringing total funding to over 1 billion yuan within less than a year since its founding in August 2025.

Li, a former head of generative large models at Huawei's Noah's Ark Lab, founded Nuin to pursue embodied AI for home scenarios with a focus on generalization. The company's technology foundation, GLOW, is a generative embodied AI large-model architecture designed to help robots move from repeating trained actions to solving tasks they have not fully seen before. According to Li, 90% of the company's training data is synthetic, cutting overall data costs by 10 to 100 times. The model can also output complete action sequences in a single inference, reducing invocation frequency.

Nuin has also unveiled KNOWIN-X1, its first consumer-grade home embodied robot. The robot features a foldable dual-arm design that can be folded to a height of under 40 centimeters, allowing it to fit into home spaces including tables, floors, sofas and washing machine areas. The team has grown to more than 200 people in under a year, with over two-thirds of algorithm team members holding doctoral degrees.

Li believes embodied AI will eventually deliver greater commercial value than large language models when the technology reaches an "emergence of capability" moment, though the industry has not yet reached that stage.
