Behavox Commits $8M to Secure UK GPU Capacity for Sovereign AI Processing

By AI123

Behavox, an AI-native controls platform for financial institutions, announced on October 7, 2026, an $8 million commitment with UK sovereign cloud and AI platform Civo to secure dedicated GPU capacity in the United Kingdom.

The agreement enables Behavox to process sensitive customer data locally, including employee communications and trading records, by running the AI models behind its products on UK-based infrastructure. The company's clients include global banks, hedge funds, asset managers, commodity traders, and insurers.

The commitment follows Civo's September 22, 2026 announcement of its flagship edge data centre in Hertfordshire, the first of 40 planned UK sites, and its planned deployment of the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform targeted for 2027.

The GPU capacity is part of Behavox's broader AI compute expansion, which also involves other neoclouds in response to demand from regulated industries for affordable tokens and agentic AI built for regulated entities. The capacity is sold through Behavox's affiliated company Gigatokens, which offers frontier models on UK sovereign infrastructure with zero data retention by default.
