Qwen-Image 2.1 Pro and Turbo APIs Go Live on Qwen AI Platform, Turbo Weights Released

On October 11, 2026, Qwen AI Platform announced the general availability of the Qwen-Image-2.1-Pro and Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo APIs. Developers can now integrate image generation and editing capabilities into their applications through the APIs, without having to deploy models or manage inference environments, and can build workflows for scenarios such as design, e-commerce, and content creation. The Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo model weights were also released simultaneously.
