Embodied AI Startup Xingchen Intelligence Raises About 1B Yuan at 15B Yuan Valuation

By AI123

Xingchen Intelligence, an embodied AI startup, announced on Oct. 13 that it closed a new funding round of about 1 billion yuan at a post-money valuation of 15 billion yuan. Participating investors include Toukong Donghai, Hongtai Fund, Ninghai Xingtaihe Fund, and Shanheng Capital, with existing shareholder Xianmu Capital following on.

The company completed a Series B round in June 2026 at a valuation above 10 billion yuan. Within roughly half a year, it has closed about four funding rounds, pushing its valuation into the 15-billion-yuan range.

Founded in 2022 and led by an early member of Tencent Robotics X, the company focuses on embodied intelligence robotics. It has adopted a tendon-driven robot design and is building a technology stack that combines AI models, an embodied OS, and robot hardware. Its S1 and T1 products are positioned respectively for continuous manipulation tasks and productization.

The broader embodied intelligence industry remains in an early stage of technical validation and commercialization. The tendon-driven route offers potential advantages in flexibility and interaction, but still faces questions of control precision, long-term reliability, and manufacturing cost.
