Floqer to Open-Source Its AI Customer Knowledge Database Technology
Floqer, an AI startup building an autonomous customer knowledge platform for B2B sales and marketing teams, said it plans to open-source the technology behind its database. The company made the announcement ahead of its Startup Battlefield presentation at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 on October 14, 2026.
The release is targeted for early 2027, pending security reviews. Floqer CEO Shivam Mahajan said the decision is partly a response to customer demand, as some companies want to host their own data rather than keep it in a vendor's proprietary platform, while others want to modify or build on top of the technology.
Floqer's platform uses AI agents to continuously research companies, people, and customer interactions, helping sales teams reduce manual prospecting work. The company says its system draws on more than 100 third-party data sources to enrich account records and monitors the web for changes such as job moves or funding news.
Floqer also disclosed that it has surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue, with overall revenue growing roughly tenfold over the past year. Founded in 2024, the company has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding from investors including Perplexity's F7 Fund, N49P, and Tidal Venture Partners, and says it has more than 1,000 customers, including Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList.
