ServiceNow and Nvidia Launch Enterprise AI Agent Arc
ServiceNow and Nvidia have made Arc, a new enterprise AI agent, generally available as of Wednesday. The companies first unveiled the concept in May. Arc is described as a personal, long-running AI agent designed to handle everyday work tasks.
The agent is built to run efficiently on Nvidia's new RTX Spark devices and can operate locally on an employee's desktop or within Nvidia OpenShell. It scans email inboxes and meeting notes to proactively surface action items, and builds memory and skills over time to improve performance.
Security is a central focus. The agent is governed by ServiceNow's Super Intelligence Control Tower and enforced at runtime by Nvidia OpenShell, moving safeguards beyond software into runtime and hardware layers. The companies also introduced AI Passport last week, which holds enterprise rules and allows rapid intervention if an agent attempts an unauthorized action.
