Tuesday Labs opens $200 deposits for Voxel home robot
Tuesday Labs, a New York startup founded by a Boston Dynamics alum, has started taking $200 refundable deposits for Voxel, a two-legged home robot designed to tidy rooms and help find lost items. The company targets U.S. deliveries in 2028 or later, with a projected price of $20,000, though the final price could change.
Voxel’s chore list includes tidying rooms, locating misplaced objects, fetching items, and watering plants. Its hardware features two 7-degree-of-freedom arms, single-DOF grippers, Z-shaped legs that fold to reach low shelves, and a camera setup combining stereo and wide-field lenses.
The startup has also invested in the robot’s personality, with illustrators, character designers, and animators involved in shaping it. Alonso Martinez, a former Pixar animator who worked on 'Up' and 'Coco,' serves as an advisor on personality design.
Tuesday Labs said Voxel still needs a major hardware redesign. The move follows 1X, which began taking $200 deposits for its $20K Neo home robot in October 2025 and plans to ship in 2026.
