KRAFTON AI Previews Raon-1 Mini: 30B-A4B MoE Model, Open Source with Free API Trial

KRAFTON AI, the artificial intelligence division of South Korean game company KRAFTON, has unveiled a preview of its Raon-1 mini model, which was trained from scratch. The company said the full version and larger models are planned for release.

Raon-1 mini uses a mixture-of-experts architecture with linear attention and speculative decoding, with a total size of 30B-A4B. The model focuses on Korean while also supporting English, and is open-sourced under the Apache 2.0 license. KRAFTON AI is offering a limited-time free API trial on its official website.

According to KRAFTON AI, the preview version performs on par with Meta's Muse Glimmer 30B on programming and agent tasks, while delivering faster speed and higher memory efficiency. It also supports natural conversation.
