A team at the Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo, led by Zhang Dongxiao and Chen Yuntian, proposed a new symbolic regression framework called GraphED, which builds an AI scientist to automatically discover constitutive laws and opens a new path for data-driven physical law discovery. The work was published in Science Advances.
