Science has published research on DAMO RADAR, a general-purpose medical imaging AI model developed by Alibaba DAMO Academy in collaboration with the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and other institutions. The model covers 18 abdominal anatomical structures and 146 diseases, achieving AUCs of 0.913 and 0.895 in internal validation on nearly 39,000 cases and external validation on more than 24,000 CT scans from 8 hospitals, respectively. Its model, code, and framework are fully open-sourced.
