China's Ministry of Natural Resources today released two AI systems, AI-OreSeeking and AI-GeoMapping, at the 2026 China International Mining Conference in Tianjin, to improve the efficiency of mineral exploration and geological mapping. AI-OreSeeking has been tested in hundreds of mineral exploration projects across more than 10 provincial-level regions, improving overall work efficiency by more than 60 percent.
