Rainbow Robotics

Rainbow RoboticsRBQ-10 is Rainbow Robotics' quadruped research platform for unstructured outdoor environments: 98 x 43 x 62 cm, 42 kg, maximum payload 15 kg. Walking speed is about 9 km/h and the running mode reaches 14 km/h; it climbs 45 percent longitudinal and 20 percent lateral slopes and negotiates steps and stairs up to 25 cm. Dynamic gait and reinforcement-learning gait run in parallel: stable, predictable dynamic walking is provided by default, and the AI gait can be engaged on slippery surfaces or at high speed. It integrates an IMU, two RGB-plus-depth camera pairs and four depth cameras, with an optional 3D LiDAR, supporting environment perception, path planning and autonomous obstacle avoidance. IP54 dust and water resistance; the battery is quick-swappable and autonomous recharging is supported, with about 2 hours of runtime (up to 4 hours). APIs from LV0 joint-level to LV1 gait and posture level are open, ROS 2/DDS compatible with simulation pre-validation, and 4K PTZ, thermal imaging, lighting and speaker modules can be mounted for inspection, security and observation tasks outdoors.
