Walker Tienkung is jointly released by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and UBTECH as a full-size research and education humanoid. It is built for students and researchers: a 170 cm full-size human-like configuration with 20 human-like degrees of freedom, a 7-DOF collaborative arm and a 6-DOF dexterous hand give it complete expressive capability. A dual-battery 30 Ah + 3 Ah quick-release design supports 8 hours of continuous operation without overheating, so an afternoon laboratory session needs no mid-session charging pause. A six-axis force/torque sensor makes force-control experiments feasible, and low-level interfaces to motors, sensors and motion control are fully open, so your algorithms can go straight in.
