Overview

Fadr is a web-based AI music creation platform that combines stem separation, remixing, and generative instrument tools into a single workflow. Positioned as an "AI Music Maker," the platform processes uploaded tracks through machine learning models to isolate vocals and up to 15 distinct instrument groups, while simultaneously extracting musical metadata including tempo, key, and chord progressions. The output can be delivered as audio files (MP3 or lossless WAV) and as separate MIDI files for vocals, bass, drums, and melody stems, enabling downstream use in DAWs, notation software, and live performance setups.

The platform's core modules include Stems, a vocal remover and stem splitter; Remix, an AI-assisted studio for creating remixes and mashups that automatically synchronizes key and tempo across tracks; and the generative plugins Siren and DrumGPT, which transform text prompts into playable instruments and drum kits, respectively. Fadr Plus extends these capabilities with Pro Stems, offering granular separation of lead and background vocals, individual drum components (kick, snare, other drums), and melodic instruments such as piano, acoustic and electric guitar, strings, and wind. Native plugins are available in VST3 and AU formats for macOS and Windows, integrating Fadr's separation engine directly into existing production environments.

The platform operates on a freemium model. Fadr Basic, free forever, allows unlimited stem generation, remixes, and DJ set creation with high-quality MP3 downloads. Free stems are retained for one week. Fadr Plus, priced at $10/month or $100/year, adds Pro Stems, individual stem types, lossless WAV downloads, the Stems/Siren/DrumGPT plugins, 1-hour uploads, unlimited storage, concurrent stem processing, individual remix track exports, and API access. The Fadr API enables developers to integrate its audio separation technology into third-party products, with usage metered via a credit and billing threshold system.

Fadr is designed to lower the barrier for music creation: no prior production experience is required to generate professional-grade stems or remixes, and the AI handles all technical synchronization automatically. This makes the platform suitable for karaoke track creation, music education and ear training, instrument isolation for practice, mashup and bootleg production, DJ performance preparation, and AI-driven sound design experimentation.
