AI21 Labs is a leading Israeli artificial intelligence lab, founded in Tel Aviv in 2017, focused on enterprise large language models and AI applications for writing, reading, and summarization. Co-founded by Mobileye co-founder Amnon Shashua, it is behind the widely used AI writing assistant Wordtune and is one of Israel's best-known AI companies. On AI, AI21 Labs has built self-developed models including Jamba 1.5 and Jurassic-2, with Jamba using a hybrid Transformer-Mamba architecture known for long context and efficient inference.
