2026 China Computing Power Conference Opens with Debut of New Domestic Products
The 2026 China Computing Power Conference kicked off on September 11 in Langfang, Hebei Province, and will run through September 13. Under the theme "Weaving the Computing Power Network, Enabling a Smart New Future," the event focuses on building the national integrated computing power network and serves as a platform for industrial exchange, innovation empowerment, supply-demand matching, and ecosystem development.
The conference adopts a "1+2+X+Y" structure, comprising one opening ceremony, two main forums, multiple sub-forums, and special activities. It debuts a "First Launch Release" session, where new computing hardware and software products will be unveiled, including domestic computing power chips, intelligent agents, and green computing solutions.
More than 10 sub-forums will cover frontier topics such as artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, computing-power coordination, space computing, and the token economy. Academicians Wu Hequan and Liu Yunjie are expected to attend, along with representatives from telecom operators and companies including Huawei, ZTE, Runze Technology, Sugon, Chindata, iSoftStone, Super Fusion, iFlytek, and GalaxySpace.
The conference takes place as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for the information and communication industry, which emphasizes computing power development. Langfang, the host city, has built 36 data centers with total intelligent computing power exceeding 200,000 P, ranking first in the country in the city computing power sub-index for two consecutive years.
