Skild AI Hits $100M ARR 10 Months Into Commercialization, CEO Says Robotics Enters Deployment Era

By AI123

Skild AI, a robotics learning software startup, has reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) just 10 months after launching commercialization. Co-founder and CEO Deepak Pathak called the milestone a sign that robotics is moving from the era of demonstrations to real-world deployment.

The company is known for building a general-purpose AI-powered "brain" designed to help robots learn by observing and imitating humans, rather than optimizing for a single task. In January 2026, Skild AI raised $1.4 billion in funding at a valuation of $14 billion.

Pathak said Skild AI's technology is now used in hundreds of robots across more than 60 companies, ranging from cafés in Japan to warehouses in the United States. In 2025, the company announced a partnership with Nvidia and Foxconn on a robotics automation project at a Houston chip factory.

In August 2026, Skild AI launched its S1 AI model, which features in-context learning capabilities. The model allows humanoid robots to acquire new skills by observing humans, including multi-step tasks that take more than 10 minutes, even without prior training data for those specific actions. In a video shared by Skild AI, a robot learned to repot a plant by watching a human, and another learned to flip pancakes after a single demonstration.

Skild AI's software supports various robot types, including quadruped robots, robotic arms, and dexterous hands, and can be used in hospitals, homes, warehouses, and factories.
