OpenAI rolls out collaborative building and more updates for ChatGPT Sites

OpenAI announced on September 12, 2026 a series of updates to ChatGPT Sites, its platform for building and hosting fully functional interactive web apps. The new features include collaborative building, allowing multiple users to work together on site creation.

ChatGPT Sites launched in June 2026, and according to OpenAI, users have already created over 5 million sites in just three months. The company said it has been listening to user feedback and will continue to roll out further improvements.
