Hang Ten Systems raises additional $53M seed led by Temasek's Xora

Hang Ten Systems, an AI startup founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, has closed an additional $53 million seed round just five weeks after its initial $32 million seed. The round was led by Xora, Temasek's early-stage investment platform, with participation from Mayfield and other investors including Aramco Ventures, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang. The company's total funding now stands at $85 million.

Founded in May 2026 and headquartered in Palo Alto, Hang Ten advises large enterprises typically generating more than $10 billion in annual revenue on AI strategy, and helps them build and modernize software. Sikka said AI is shifting the focus of software development from writing code to defining requirements and validating system performance. The startup says it is working with 21 major enterprises and late-stage prospects, has signed multiple seven-figure contracts, and is pursuing eight-figure deals. Its customers span the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including Fresenius Kabi, Saudi Aramco and Siemens Energy.

Xora approached Hang Ten about investing after seeing early customer traction, and sees an opportunity to introduce the startup to companies in Temasek's portfolio, Sikka said. He declined to disclose valuation but said the second seed round was a bump up. The new capital will be used to expand engineering, consulting and sales teams. The company currently has about 20 to 25 employees across the U.S., the Middle East and Australia, and expects to hire in Europe and India.

Hang Ten says its edge lies not in building another AI model, but in adapting AI to complex enterprise software development. Co-founder and chief design officer Sanjay Rajagopalan said its engineers rely on an in-house framework called Hobie that packages reusable AI "skills" for regulated industries and complex enterprise software projects. Rajagopalan noted that some projects that previously required teams of about 30 people can now be handled by teams of two to four, with final quality checks and certification still performed by customers or independent third parties.
