Nebius to Raise GPU Cloud Prices About 20% from Oct. 1, Second Hike in 2026

By AI123

Nebius has announced it will raise prices for its GPU cloud services by an average of about 20% starting October 1, 2026, covering H100, H200, B200 and B300 chips. The increase is the company's second since May 2026 and was widely viewed as a sign that AI compute demand remains overheated while supply stays tight. Nebius shares rose nearly 7% in after-hours trading, while Coreweave gained about 4% and optical networking stocks including AAOI and Credo Technology advanced close to 3%.

Under the new rate card, H100 will rise from $3.85 to $4.50 per GPU-hour, up about 16.9%; H200 from $4.50 to $5.40, up 20%; B200 from $7.15 to $8.50, up about 18.9%; and B300 from $7.85 to $9.50, up about 21%. In May 2026, Nebius increased prices by an average of 29% for on-demand capacity and 51% for preemptible capacity. For B300, the cumulative increase since the pre-May price of about $6.10 per hour comes to roughly 56%.

According to market analysts, Nebius management has previously indicated that some customers have reserved capacity for the first and second quarters of 2028, with some orders involving tens of thousands of GPUs. Demand visibility now exceeds 24 months, up from about 18 months. The latest increase spans both older Hopper GPUs and the newer Blackwell lineup, suggesting demand is broad-based across AI compute types. Nvidia's strong quarterly results on September 16 reinforced expectations that AI data center buildouts will continue to drive compute supply chains.

Some analysts say data center operators are gaining pricing power, with contract terms increasingly tilting in favor of the supply side.
