Verizon invests $70M in nationwide AI skills initiative

On September 23, 2026, Verizon announced a $70 million investment to support AI skills development across the United States.

As part of the initiative, the telecommunications company will launch a portal offering AI training courses from IBM, Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, Coursera, and OpenAI.
