WiCi unveils wireless external GPU that streams graphics over Wi-Fi 7

By AI123

WiCi has introduced the WiCi One, a wireless external GPU designed to deliver dedicated graphics performance to laptops over a Wi-Fi 7 connection. Unlike traditional eGPUs that rely on Thunderbolt or OCuLink cables, the WiCi One targets users who want to keep slim laptops while running graphically intensive games or demanding AI workloads.

The WiCi One integrates a dedicated graphics card, a Wi-Fi 7 module, and a cooling system into a single enclosure. The base model features an Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU, an Intel Core 3 100U processor, and 1TB of NVMe storage. It is available for preorder at $1,999, with a planned retail price of $2,599. WiCi expects to begin shipping the first units in the fourth quarter of 2026. According to the company, the RTX 5060 Ti configuration can run Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K Ultra with DLSS 4 at 80 fps, and Black Myth: Wukong at 4K Cinematic with DLSS 4 at 60 fps.

Beyond gaming, WiCi positions the WiCi One as a tool for handling heavy AI tasks or running local AI assistants. A more powerful version with an RTX 5090 32GB GPU, an Intel Core Ultra 7 225H processor, and a 4TB NVMe 5 SSD is planned, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
