Manus Releases 2.0 Upgrade With Self-Developed Cascade Agent Framework and Personal Assistant App Cue
Manus has officially unveiled version 2.0 of its AI agent platform, introducing the self-developed Cascade Agent framework, a cloud computer option, an upgraded Manus Studio, and a new personal agent application called Cue.
According to the company, the new Cascade framework reduces task token consumption by 23.2%, cuts task completion time by 28.2%, and lowers operating costs by 32%. The cloud computer feature provides users with an always-on remote environment for automated workflows and multiplayer game hosting.
The upgraded Manus Studio, positioned as a shared workspace for humans and AI, now includes a video editor and a game development environment. The video editor targets short-form content such as product ads, tutorials, and vlogs, while the game development environment integrates video, image, and coding models and allows users to publish their games as playable web pages.
Manus also introduced Cue, a personal agent app available on mobile and desktop that shares the same infrastructure as Manus. Each agent in Cue can be equipped with its own email address, phone number, wallet, and computer, allowing it to send messages, make payments within a set budget, and handle calls independently. Agents can also collaborate in groups to complete shared goals.
In an official WeChat post, Manus said it is building a team to develop products for the Chinese market and is steadily cooperating with domestic model providers and ecosystem partners.
