Anthropic's Claude AI Services Hit by Partial Outage, Company Investigating

Anthropic's AI services experienced disruptions on September 29, with the company reporting elevated error rates for Claude.ai (including desktop and mobile apps), Claude Code, and Claude Cowork. The affected services are currently listed as partially degraded.

According to Anthropic's status page, users may encounter failed requests, issues loading or sending conversations, or prompts to log in again. Some requests may succeed after retrying.

Claude Console and the Claude API remain operational. Anthropic said it is investigating the cause and has not yet provided details on when service will fully resume.
