Animated Film 'Myth Accident' Wraps Production with 33 AI Agents
“Myth Accident,” an AI-animated film co-produced by Yuehe Culture and Zhangyue Technology, with Minglue Technology, Qingbo Zhiyuan Media and Beijing Youth Lakeside also among the producers, has wrapped production. The film was created and produced entirely on Zhangyue’s Paoman platform. Minglue Technology served as “AI coordinator,” using its Octo agent collaboration platform to assemble an AI production team of 33 AI agents. The film has been filed with the National Film Administration and officially titled.
According to Minglue, Octo enables collaboration between multiple AI agents and humans. A writing agent organizes storylines, an art agent works on style, and a storyboard agent assists with shot design. The director used Minglue's AI-native recording hardware Octic to sync creative ideas into Octo in real time for agents to process. In “script reading” sessions, the team also trained an agent to assist performance discussions and information recording.
The team adopted several workflow methods: multi-round art iterations to converge on style, traditional hand-drawn sketches combined with AI local edits for atmosphere, on-site architects to ensure spatial logic, manual storyboards for human understanding, and locked camera settings for visual consistency. Chemical Industry Press plans to publish a summary of the production methodology.
Director Wang Dan, whose background is in live-action films, brought experience in performance, pacing and camera work to AI animation. Minglue says the reusable methodology covering character design, prompt systems and agent collaboration can be applied to future AI animation features, series, short dramas and IP development.
