Hark Launches Hark Pro, an AI Operating System for Life, on Web, iOS, and Android

By AI123

On October 7, AI startup Hark officially launched Hark Pro, its proactive AI "operating system for your life," now available on the web, iOS, and Android. The product is free for all users, with paid subscriptions offering more usage: $20 per month for 2x usage and $100 per month for 10x usage.

Hark was founded by Brett Adcock, who also founded the humanoid robotics company Figure AI. The design team is led by Abidur Chowdhury, a former Apple designer who introduced the iPhone Air during Apple's September 2025 keynote before leaving the company two months later. Chowdhury describes Hark Pro as a graphical user interface for AI, comparing current chatbots to command-line terminals and hoping to make AI interactions friendlier and easier to use, much like the original Macintosh did for desktop computing.

In a demonstration, Hark Pro's home screen features a panel of proactive cards. After connecting email and third-party services, the AI suggests actions such as approving documents, uploading receipts for reimbursement, checking into flights, or confirming payments. Users can also type tasks into a composer, and Hark will spin up its own cloud computer called Handoff to execute them, such as ordering food through DoorDash and handling payment, leaving only the final confirmation to the user.

Hark also touts its AI's anticipating capabilities. For example, after buying a movie ticket, the system may also find parking, reserve a spot at a nearby garage, and send a QR code for entry, with steps paced to arrive at the right time. The company has not revealed hardware details, but Chowdhury previously indicated the device will not be a wearable or a Figure robot. TechCrunch reported that Hark plans to ship devices in 2027.
