Microsoft-Decision-1 Debuts on OpenRouter
By AI123
Microsoft has launched Microsoft-Decision-1, a decision-making model post-trained from Qwen3.5-9B, on the OpenRouter platform. OpenRouter provides developers with unified API access to multiple AI models.
According to Microsoft, the model achieved the highest accuracy across 36 blind benchmarks (~150K questions), ran 4.5x faster than the runner-up and 35x faster than GPT-6 Sol, and flipped its decision on only 1.3% of perturbed inputs. Pricing is $0.042 per million input tokens, with free output and a 32K context window.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the company is already using the model internally for incident response, quality control, and scientific discovery.
