Grok Bot Adds Dedicated Email Addresses for Scheduling and Merchant Contact
SpaceXAI announced on October 10, 2026 that Grok Bot is getting dedicated email addresses. The company said the addresses can be used to register for services, contact merchants on behalf of users, and schedule appointments. The feature is rolling out gradually, and users can request an address in chat or tag @bot on X.
The bot's email addresses end with @mail.grokbot.com. Users can try to customize the prefix, and the system will check whether it is available. The claim process can be started from the chat interface, for example by typing "claim your email address".
The email feature is one of several Grok Bot updates this week. Earlier, the company announced that the bot can search, read, and monitor X content, and added Shopify capabilities for viewing orders, tracking inventory, and updating product information.
With a dedicated mailbox, Grok Bot is expected to take part in tasks that involve sending and receiving emails, beyond responding to user-initiated conversations. The feature is still being rolled out, and the exact availability and permissions will depend on official deployment.
Grok Bot is a "resident AI colleague" from SpaceXAI, launched in beta in August 2026. It can log into websites and apps on a cloud computer, execute multi-step tasks, and return to users for approval when human judgment is needed. Each Grok Bot has a name, role, and accumulated context, and users can assign work via text, voice, or voice calls. It runs on a cloud computer with a browser, file system, and terminal, so background and scheduled tasks continue even when the user shuts down their own device.
