DJI ROMO 2 Robot Vacuum and Mop First-Week Sales in Europe Triple vs Predecessor

By AI123

DJI's new AI-powered robot vacuum and mop, the ROMO 2 series, got off to a strong start in Europe in October 2026, with first-week sales more than doubling compared to the previous generation. Online channels grew 217% and offline channels 170%, and the series entered more than 100 physical stores in France alone.

The ROMO 2 also appeared at IFA 2026 in Berlin, taking home the official IFA Best of Home Appliance Innovation Award and multiple “Best of IFA” / “best in show” honors from tech media including TechRadar, t3n, cgm, Home & Smart, and AppleInsider.

Based on DJI's sensing and algorithm capabilities from its drone and imaging businesses, the ROMO 2 has been redesigned for home cleaning, featuring a self-developed R&D chipset, obstacle recognition for cables and glass, and smart path planning. It also adds a chassis that can lift to cross thresholds, an extending side brush arm, 36,000Pa suction, a two-claw anti-tangle side brush, a base station requiring no maintenance for up to 365 days, 85% noise reduction, and a local data mode that works without an internet connection to protect privacy.

The series is also being sold in China.
