Looktech Debuts World's First Brain-Computer Interface Smart Glasses at SILMO Paris

By AI123

At the SILMO Paris 2026 optical trade fair, Looktech unveiled its next-generation AI smart glasses, described as the world's first AI glasses featuring a brain-computer interface (BCI). The launch brings core BCI technology from Chehui Technology, the brain-computer interface company behind Looktech, into the AI eyewear category.

The new glasses integrate an EEG sensor to capture brain signals and provide insights into the wearer's emotional state and brain health. They also include a six-axis IMU and ambient light sensors to monitor neck posture, outdoor light exposure, and eye health over extended wear. Powered by WUQI Micro's WQ7036 series smart audio main control chip, the product supports voice interaction, noise reduction, and stable low-power Bluetooth connectivity for AI assistant features such as image recognition and real-time multilingual translation.

Design-wise, Looktech adopted carbon fiber and acetate fiber materials, with temple thickness reduced to 0.4mm and total weight under 30 grams, aiming for a look and feel closer to traditional eyewear.
