Apple has sent media invitations to an all-day product launch event in Los Angeles on Oct. 28, 2026. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the company is expected to unveil its first touchscreen OLED MacBook, a refreshed iPad mini, and MacBooks powered by the M6 chip.

The new MacBook lineup reportedly includes two product lines: a 14-inch and 16-inch OLED touchscreen model with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, featuring a redesigned and significantly lighter body, possibly replacing the notch with a Dynamic Island and adding optional 5G support; and a 14-inch MacBook with the base M6 chip, largely unchanged in design. The M6 MacBook Pro is expected to focus on Siri and AI-powered features in macOS.

Apple is also said to be introducing a new iPad mini with an OLED display and M6 chip, marking the first refresh since 2024. The price could rise from $599 to $799. The camera will be repositioned to the long edge for landscape use, along with a new speaker system. New iMacs with the M6 chip are also expected, primarily as chip refreshes with minor design changes.
