Liquid AI Launches d1-ultra Decision Model, Claims Better Performance Than Jev 1.14

Liquid AI announced the launch of d1-ultra, a decision model it touts as the "world's best," on October 15, 2026. The company says the model outperforms Jev 1.14 across eight task categories and also has stronger overall results than rivals including vLLM Semantic Router d3.

The release came one day after TypeSafe AI introduced Jev 1.14 preview at 1:14 p.m. Pacific Time on October 14. TypeSafe AI described the update as a new and improved model with image input, a longer context window, and a new "box" type.
