Alibaba DAMO Academy Unveils First Automotive-Grade Enhanced E908A Chip

On October 19, Alibaba DAMO Academy introduced its first automotive-grade enhanced E908A chip.

At the event, Meng Jianyi, chief scientist at the academy, said Xuantie chips have shipped more than 6 billion units. He also cited an Omdia forecast projecting that global RISC-V processor annual shipments will grow nearly 30% per year through 2030, when RISC-V processors could account for about 25% of global processor shipments.
