Inovance Launches InoBot W1, Industry's First Liquid-Cooled Wheeled Embodied Robot
On October 22, 2026, Inovance Technology released the InoBot W1, a liquid-cooled wheeled embodied robot described as the industry's first of its kind. The robot was developed from body design to control systems to address the shortage of highly reliable and consistent robot platforms in industrial settings.
The InoBot W1 features a liquid cooling loop that enables continuous full-load operation in environments above 40°C. Its centralized heat dissipation design gives the machine an IP54 protection rating, allowing it to handle dust, splashing water, oil and other challenging conditions. The reduced number of fans also significantly lowers operating noise for quiet human-robot collaboration.
The robot's design separates the torso, arms, end effectors, folding mechanism and chassis into modular sections, facilitating modular production, assembly and maintenance. End effectors can be swapped with grippers later. A compact chassis with omnidirectional steering wheels enables navigation and in-place rotation in narrow spaces. The robot is equipped with a 3.6 kWh battery pack that delivers up to 10 hours of operation, and its dual hot-swappable battery modules support 24/7 continuous production.
Inovance has also built a three-tier whole-body control system for the InoBot W1, enabling multi-joint coordinated operation, flexible precision manipulation and high-speed response control, with millisecond-level synchronization and microsecond-level latency for whole-body motion control, high-precision trajectory control and real-time fault reporting.
InoBot W1 provides open interfaces, data platforms and resources to help partners deploy in industrial scenarios. Inovance has set up a data collection platform supporting data acquisition, annotation, cleaning, model training, evaluation and deployment, and is opening collaboration on embodied intelligence brain and cerebellum technologies. The company is working with partners to build vertical-scenario demonstration sites across more than 70 industrial segments, aiming for commercial closed loops.
