Honor Premieres Magic9 Series with System-Level Agent Harness at CEIC

By AI123

On October 23, Honor appeared as a leading exhibitor at the Consumer Electronics Innovation Conference (CEIC) in Shenzhen, showcasing its Magic9 series AI agent smartphones and a full-scenario AI terminal ecosystem. Dr. Huang Fei, Honor's chief AI scientist, delivered a speech at the event, outlining the company's terminal AI technology framework for the next decade.

The Magic9 series is described as the industry's first AI agent smartphone featuring a commercial system-level Agent Harness architecture. Powered by the YOYO agent, the device can recognize user intent, execute multi-step operations across different applications, and provide proactive services in over a thousand daily-life scenarios. Huang noted that future terminal devices will evolve from simple application containers into carriers of intelligent agents, with agent operating systems set to drive the next round of terminal transformation.

For this purpose, Honor has built the YOYO Harness terminal intelligence hub, using its new Magic Language model matrix as the core of the agent operating system. According to Honor, YOYO achieves a comprehensive task accuracy of 91.8% and can reliably handle long-horizon tasks with more than a hundred steps.

The exhibition area also featured Honor's broader AI terminal ecosystem, including embodied intelligent robots, tablets, smartwatches, and other devices. Honor reaffirmed its commitment to an open ecosystem strategy, using smartphones as the core entry point to build a full-scenario intelligent system and working with partners to explore new forms of AI-enabled terminals.
